Boardman beats Holy Family 36-14

The girls played a great game filled with energy, enthusiasm, and heart. They played strong defense which led to a good offense through fast breaks. Mihok started the energy with sinking a 3 pointer. Boardman falls to Howland

The girls played a tough game against Howland Monday night. The girls were down 13-16 at halftime but the gap started to widen ending with a 21-30 final Howland. Freeborough with 7 Mihok with two 3 pointers Vennetti with 3 , Habeger with 5. The girls play Holy Family at Glenwood Thursday at 5:30.

Boardman girls beat Warren Gold away

Tonight Boardman’s girls came home with a W. The first quarter boardman came out fresh  starting a lead of 15-1. Ward went 100% from the field of shooting 3/3 from the 3 point line. Monday evening the 7th grade girls white team played Holy Family and Boardman played fundamentally strong. Thursday night 7th grade girls white played AMS blue. Boardman fell to Austintown 34-13. Shots weren’t falling for Boardman tonight. Freeborough 2 ward 4 Mihok 2 klisiewicz with 5.

7th grade team white

The 7th grade girls white fell to Canfield 25-20.  Freeborough 6. Strines 5. Ward 3. Mihok 4. Vennetti 2.  It was close game, the girls will be in action Thursday against AMS blue.

December 11, the 7th grade girls white played Austintown Red. The game started off with a close one. The first quarter ended with a score of boardman up 9-6.  Boardman started to pull away to a win with a end score of 38-16. Ward leading with 12, Strines 11, Freeborough and Habeger 4, Mihok 3,

Monday evening the 7th Grade Girls played St. Charles. Boardman came home with the win by playing hard strong defense and shutting down St. Charles to only 15. Leading scorer for boardman was Strines 20. To follow Freeborough 10 . Habeger with 4. Mihok, Rubino, and Kliewicz each with 2. 7th white’s record is 3-0

The 7th grade white girls played a tough, physical game against the Howland tigers. Strines leading with 13 points. Ward to follow with 5. Freeborough contributed 2 as well. Mihok helped widen the lead by making her free throw. The game was close. The final score was boardman 21- Howland 18.
