Boys Varsity Track Team Has Outstanding Performance at OHSAA District Meet, Earns District Runner-Up Honors, Qualifies 10 Events To The Regional Meet Next Week

Nine Senior Boys Track Members Honored Before Canfield Meet, Spartans Defeat The Cardinals To Remain Undefeated

Eight senior members of the boys track and field team were introduced with their parents before the Canfield meet.   Those seniors include Nate Cornelius, Zach Hillard, Cameron Maloney, Nikitas Missos, Josh Rodriguez, Colin Russell, Nick Torres, Payton Torres, and Noah Veauthier.  Thank you seniors for your guidance and leadership to the girls team. Junior Mitchel Dunham Named MVP of the Mahoning County Track and Field Meet

Congratulations to junior Mitchel Dunham as he was named the MVP of the Mahoning County Track and Field Championship Meet held today at Austintown Fitch High School.  Mitchel won the 1600 meter run in 4:31.57, the 3200 meter run in 10:02.80, and ran a leg on the Spartans winning 4 x 800 meter relay team.

Boys Varsity Track Team Captures The East Palestine Invitational

Congratulations to the boys varsity track team for capturing the East Palestine Invitational by scoring 112 points.  Crestview was the runner-up with 85 points out of the 19 team field.  Capturing first place for the Spartans were Mitchel Dunham in the 1600 (4:28.14), Payton Torres in the 800 (2:04.05), the 4 x 400 meter relay

Boys Varsity Track Team Opens Up 2019 Season With Wins Over Mooney And Lowellville

Congratulations to the Boardman boys varsity track team as they opened the 2019 season with a 116-31-16 victory over the Cardinal Mooney Cardinals and Lowellville Rockets this past Tuesday.  The following is the write-up from Coach Phillips: The Spartans opened the meet with a victory by senior Cameron Maloney, junior Zander Schobel, and sophomores Justin Maloney
