The Spartan Swimmers improved their record to 8-1 with wins over Warren Harding, Perry, and Massillon on Tuesday night at Beeghly Natatorium. The Spartans won 11 out of the 12 events.
Double winners for the Spartans include sophomore Caleb Satterfield in the 200 Freestyle (1:55.83) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:05.62), Sophomore Ethan DunLany in the 200 IM (2:11.69) and the 500 Freestyle (5:03.88), and Senior Siman Mascola in the 50 Free (23.95) and the 100 Freestyle (52.45).
Single event winners include junior Justin Yocum in the 100 Backstroke (1:02.35), freshman Owen Lee in the 100 butterfly (1:00.87), and Teddy Anzevino in the 1 meter diving (268.50).
The Spartan relays helped seal the meet with the “A” Medley’s 2nd place finish (Justin Yocum, senior Jackson Behun, Owen Lee, and sophomore Andrew Yocum) and the “B” relay’s 4th place snag (junior Liam Parker, Ethan Slick, sophomore Liam Manley, and freshman Landon Mitchel). The “A” 200 Freestyle relay took 1st (Caleb Satterfield, junior Carter Cailor, Siman Mascola, and Ethan DunLany) while the “B” relay placed 2nd (Andrew Yocum, junior Matthew Vasko, Jackson Behun, and Landon Mitchell). Also taking a 1st in the 400 Freestyle Relay were the Spartans “A” relay team of Siman Mascola, Carter Cailor, Ethan DunLany, and Caleb Satterfield, while the “B” relay team placed 2nd with Justin Yocum, Andrew Yocum, Jackson Behun, and Owen Lee.
