Freshmen Boys Basketball Team 5-1 on the Season

The Boardman boys freshmen basketball team is now 5-1 overall on the season and 3-1 in the AAC.  In their season opener against Akron Firestone, the Spartans won 57-39 led by Mark Melewski with 13 points.  Melewski and Noah Falleti led the team in their first AAC contest over Canfield by a score of 63-56

Boys Swim Team 2nd at NEAC Relays

The Spartan boys swim team finished in the runner-up spot at the NEAC Relays winning two events and placing second in two relays.  Freshmen Kyle Kimerer was on two winning boy’s relays.  In the first place 200 butterfly relay, Kimerer was joined by seniors David Zaitzew, Tyler Calpin and junior Aaron DunLany.  Juniors Michael Vidman

Girls Swim Team Wins NEAC Relays

The Lady Spartan swim team won the first three relays to set the tone for the team at the NEAC Relays.  They battled the entire meet against the favored Wooster Generals but won in the end by a score of 150-132.  Sarah Gonda, Brooke Bailey, Corie Kuras and Amanda Moss won the 200 medley relay.

Girls Bowling Team Defeats Struthers

Girls Swim Team Defeats Harding and Canfield

The girls swim team opened their 2014-2015 season with wins over Warren Harding and Canfield and losses to North Canton Hoover and Wooster.  Against Hoover, the girls lost by a score of 106-77.  Senior Brooke Bailey won the 200 freestyle in a career best time of 2:01.34.  She also won the 500 freestyle by 27
