At the OHSAA State Wrestling tournament this morning, Michael O’Horo lost a hard fought match to Jake Evans from Elyria.  He is up very soon for the match that determines 5th place.  Michael is competing against Cole Foor from Watkins Memorial.  Coach Dom Mancini is live-streaming the match on the Boardman Wrestling Facebook site.  Good luck to Michael.

Michael O’Horo Wins His Next Match – Will Wrestle Saturday Morning For 3rd/4th Place

Michael O’Horo Assured Of Podium Finish At State Wrestling Tournament

Senior Michael O’Horo opened state competition last night (Thursday) with a huge win over St Edward’s Michael Garcar by a score of 9-2.  On Friday morning, he competed against Kettering Fairmont’s Nevan Snodgrass and lost 10-2.  But O’Horo rebounded and won his next match in overtime by a score of 3-1 and with that win
