Girls Varsity Lacrosse · Girls Varsity Lacrosse Team Loses To Cleveland Heights In Regional Tournament, Ends Season With Most Wins In A Season As A Varsity Sport

The girls varsity lacrosse team opened up the OHSAA tournament by playing a first-round regional game against a very tough Cleveland Heights team.  The Spartans were down 12-2 at halftime on a cold and rainy night.  They scored one more goal in the second half as the Tigers defeated the Spartans 16-3.  Paige Jankowski scored two goals and Priya Shah had one for the Spartans.  They finish the season with an overall record of 6-12.  The six wins are the most for the team since it became a varsity sport at Boardman 3 years ago.

Congratulations to the girls team, Head Coach Matt Pavone, and Assistant Coaches Olivia Vanderhoof and Alexis Cailor for their accomplishments this season.
