Boys Varsity Wrestling · Michael O’Horo Assured Of Podium Finish At State Wrestling Tournament


Senior Michael O’Horo opened state competition last night (Thursday) with a huge win over St Edward’s Michael Garcar by a score of 9-2.  On Friday morning, he competed against Kettering Fairmont’s Nevan Snodgrass and lost 10-2.  But O’Horo rebounded and won his next match in overtime by a score of 3-1 and with that win is assured of making the podium in the 170 pound weight class.  The top eight are honored as All-Ohio on the podium at the end of competition.

He will wrestle again tonight at 6:30 p.m. and Saturday morning around 10:00 a.m.  Stay tuned Spartan fans.  And good luck to Michael as he continues his excellent performance at the OHSAA State Wrestling Tournament.
